Entry & Ticketing
How do I buy tickets?
▾
Tickets are available HERE Pre-purchase is advised. Gate sales (card/digital only) from 11am at the on-site Ticketek office (open event days only).
Which entry gates are open?
▾
For this event, Western Entry Gate 3 (waterfront side, beside Brian McGowan Bridge) is open.
Will my bag be checked on entry?
▾
Yes. All bags will be checked prior to entry. For some events, electronic screening is also used.
When can entry be refused?
▾
- Intoxicated and/or disorderly persons
- Unauthorised persons or invalid/scalped tickets
- Prohibited items or items causing nuisance
- Groups designated by Police or on banned lists
When can patrons be ejected or fined?
▾
- Foul/abusive language; racial or threatening remarks/gestures
- Offensive, disorderly, or unlawful behaviour
- Unauthorised entry to the Stadium or playing area
- Failure to comply with Conditions of Entry or staff directions
No ticket refund if ejected. Re-entry within 24 hours is an offence.
What to bring / not to bring
Can I bring a chair?

Central Coast Oktoberfest has plenty of tables and chairs — no chairs may be brought in.
Can I bring an umbrella?
▾
Yes, but please don’t open them in front of other spectators. Ponchos are a better alternative. However, we expect a beautiful sunny day!
Can I bring animals?
▾
No. Animals are prohibited, except for official assistance animals and guide dogs.
Which items are prohibited?
▾
- Professional cameras (detachable/telephoto lens or lens extending >5cm) and flash
- Professional recording devices; monopods/tripods
- Any drinks with broken seal; alcohol or illegal substances
- Eskies/hard cooler bags (must fit under seat)
- Weapons or items used as weapons/projectiles (incl. toy/replica)
- Chains, spiked/studded accessories
- Fireworks/flares
- Glass bottles/containers
- Laser pointers, scissors, aerosol canisters
- Drones/remote-controlled devices
- Motorbike helmets, balaclavas
- Horns, trumpets, sirens, whistles, vuvuzelas
- Flags/signs larger than 1m × 1m; offensive content not permitted (unless pre-authorised)
- Strollers, prams, baby capsules* (cloaking available; *allowed at some small on-field events)
- Vacuum flasks of any material
- Bicycles, skateboards, skates
- Commercial food (excl. items from approved vendors/outlets)
- Commercial quantities of packet food
- E-cigarettes/vaporisers/electronic nicotine systems
- Animals (excluding service animals)

Is smoking or vaping allowed?

Use the designated area on ground floor West (south-west corner of the car park).
What’s the dress code?
▾
We’d love to see you in your best Oktoberfest outfit! However, if you don’t plan on dressing up please wear something appropriate.
Will there be merchandise for sale?
▾
Yes. Central Coast Oktoberfest merch, band merch and brewery merch on the festival lawn.
What are the general conditions of entry?
▾
- Screening applies (bag checks; electronic screening at some events).
- Management may conduct personal checks; refusal may mean no entry.
- No alcohol may be taken into or out of the Stadium.
- No smoking/vaping inside; no pass-outs for this event (use the designated area).
- You may be recorded via broadcast/CCTV for safety/security.
- Events may involve crowd-related risks; assess your own risk.
- Children under 15 must be accompanied by a guardian (16+) unless in a program. Specific age restrictions may apply.
- Sun exposure in some areas; patrons are responsible for sun protection and hydration.
Liquor licence & RSA conditions

- Licensed premises; intoxicated persons refused entry/evicted.
- No external alcohol permitted.
- Offences apply for minors purchasing/consuming or being supplied alcohol.
- Bag checks at entrances.
- Some events require drinks to be decanted into approved plastic cups or lids removed from bottles.
- Accepted ID: AU/foreign driver licence; AU/foreign passport; NSW Photo Card; government Proof of Age card.
- polytec Stadium supports NSW “No More It’s The Law” RSA initiatives.

Are there ATMs? Is the venue cash-free?

No permanent ATM on-site. The venue is cash-free: card or digital payments only.

Food vans: Master Gozleme, German Grill Haus, Coast & Cone, Dutch Pancakes, Volkswurst, Nick’s Knuckles and Street Boss
Beer: Six String Brewing Co, Block n’ Tackle, Big Little Brewing, Oak Haven Brewery & Bay Rd Brewery.

Emergency & Safety
What happens in an emergency evacuation?

An Emergency Operational Management Plan is in place. Please identify your nearest exits. Follow directions from the Emergency Management Team to reach a place of safety calmly and promptly. When leaving, please keep noise to a minimum for neighbours.
